Invest in Visions

Invest in Visions GmbH was founded by Edda Schröder in 2006 with the aim of providing access to impact investments to institutional and private investors. In addition to financial yields, these investments also offer social returns. We made a name for ourselves as one of the first microfinance investors and achieved in 2011 an important milestone with the establishment of IIV Mikrofinanzfonds (Microfinance Fund) as the first fund of its class of investment in Germany for private and institutional investors. In addition to microfinance, we deal with education, renewable energy (decentral projects), sustainable agriculture and the financing of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), general social projects and pay-for-performance bonds. Our product solutions consist of funds and bearer bonds (IIV Mikrofinanz-Anleihe.) Our focus is always on newly industrialized and developing countries. Our experience and specialized network provide us with extensive expertise for the selection and evaluation of sustainable and social investment products.

Together with our partners, we aim to improve the socio-economic environment of the countries and regions in which we invest commercially. The IIV Portfolio Management therefore reviews the profitability, sustainability, ethics and suitability of social and geopolitical structures of investments in accordance with our internal investment rules. We focus on where the greatest needs and effects are: newly industrialized and developing countries. Since we founded Invest in Visions we have been committed to making sustainable investments accessible to a broad group of investors. We act as a link between the very different worlds of our investors and the enterprises we support. We are a reliable and trusted partner even in times of distress - because we believe strongly in the purpose and longevity of our investments.
