Edda Schröder is the founder and managing partner at Invest in Visions. She started her career in asset management in 1994 with Fleming Funds Management (today’s JP Morgan Asset Management), where she was responsible for fund sales and marketing in Europe. She then joined the UK investment company Schroders, where she held the role of managing director; in this capacity she was responsible for the sale of mutual funds in Germany and Austria. In 2006, she founded Invest in Visions GmbH with a view to reconciling her extensive experience in the financial sector with social objectives.
Edda Schröder is a member of the supervisory board of UmweltBank AG, a direct bank for ethical and ecological investments and loans.
Assistant to management
Susanne Brenczewsky provides support to the management, and she is responsible for office organisation as well as sales and marketing coordination.
She has extensive experience in project and office management in commercial and social enterprises. She was able to develop her main areas of activity (state analysis, restructuring and coaching) during her degree in social education and business administration.
Andrij Fetsun, PhD
Senior portfolio manager
Dr Fetsun was involved in shaping the investment process and investment philosophy of the IIV microfinance fund. He is an expert in rural microfinance and impact investments.
Before joining Invest in Visions, Andrij Fetsun worked for a well-known investment company, where he was responsible for fund management and the development of sustainable investment strategies. He has also worked in the private banking and asset management division of a Frankfurt-based private bank, where he focused on risk and scenario analysis for portfolios.
In addition to the financial and social analysis of microfinance institutes, she focuses on the ongoing monitoring of loans in the portfolio.
Before joining Invest in Visions, Elena Mende worked as team and marketing assistant at a consulting company for property and construction projects. While studying for her degree, Elena Mende was committed to development-policy issues; for example, she helped with the introduction of a new donation system in the fundraising and growth department of a well-known non-governmental organisation.
In addition to the financial and social analysis of microfinance institutes, Nina Rettberg focuses on the ongoing monitoring of loans in the portfolio and in contract management.
She gained her extensive experience in credit financing and asset management with two reputable financial institutions in the past two years, where she was mainly responsible for project financing. While working on her degree in economics, Ms Rettberg explored the topic of sustainable investments in-depth.
Yannick Rust supports the portfolio management team in the financial and social analysis of microfinance institutes and the business development of our funds.
After studying international management (in Madrid and Reutlingen), he worked in project management in Beijing and then gained experience in impact investing with a consulting company in Berlin and a bank in Frankfurt.
